Happiness = Creation × Users. Which is also why B2C is more fun than B2B.

We are all creators. That’s what brings us joy. Kids being one of the greatest ‘things’ we can create.
And while creating just for oneself brings us joy, I think having other people use what we create brings us even more. Chefs enjoy others eating their meal and giving them compliments, devs enjoy users using their products, musicians enjoy creating but love the fans enjoying their work… the more the merrier.
So one way to think about happiness is that it’s creating something multiplied by the number of users using it.
Happiness = Creation × Users
That’s also why B2C is far more fun than B2B.
